Congratulations to Ladies 1st XI player Krystal Eavis who recently had the amazing experience of playing for a ‘UK Red Lions’ squad in a prestigious international tournament organised by USA Field Hockey in Florida.

Krystal has been playing for WuE HC since she was 7 years old so has come through the ranks of the club. Krystal's dad Chris was keen to thank the ladies teams for aiding her development but in particular Martin Scott who has coached her since her days in the Girls u10s!

The ‘Red Lions’ are a representative team organised by US Sports Scholarships – a leading provider of Sports Recruitment & Sports Tours.

The squad recently attended and competed in the National Hockey Festival – organised by USA Field Hockey – in Naples, Florida.

The tournament was a showcase for hockey players of all ages and across the United States and some teams from across the world.

For the u19 competition that Krystal competed in, it was also an opportunity to be watched by scouts and coaches from NCAA College teams as they use this event to recruit players
