This coming weekend our Boys u16 Tier 1 squad head to the NATIONAL FINALS in Nottingham!
For the majority of this squad, and Coach Andy Edwards, it’s the third consecutive year the Boys have represented the club at a National Finals; obtaining a silver medal in the u14 Boys competition in 2023.

Our boys will be competing in a Pool with: Surbiton, Wimbledon and City of York. In the other pool are Belper, Old Loughtonians, Repton and another Wimbledon team – so we really are mixing in with the Country’s top clubs!

There will be 3 Pool games across the weekend with a final between the top teams in each Pool and crossovers on Sunday afternoon.

This caps a fine end to the season for our Junior & Youth Section which also included…
• Girls u16s winning the Avon Junior Hockey League
• Boys u10s winning Silver at the Gloucestershire In2Hockey finals and going to represent Gloucestershire at the Regional Finals
• Girls u14s getting to the final of the West Tier 2 Girls competition

This sits alongside strong representation from our younger players at both County, Talent Academy & National Age Group squads, as well as continued massive participation levels for Boys & Girls at all ages from under 8s to under 16s.
